Pluko’s journey in music began on SoundCloud in 2016, when his early uploads quickly racked up millions of streams. At just 16 years old, he was producing music from the bedroom of his hometown of Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, during the peak of the future bass movement. The rapid momentum led to an early signing with Avicii’s label. Soon after, pluko joined Odesza’s label Foreign Family Collective, where he released his first project and joined the duo on tour, solidifying his place in the next generation of electronic producers.
During the pandemic, pluko released his mixtape COLOR BLIND, marking a transitional moment in his artistry. In the years that followed, he stepped back from the spotlight to refine his sound and creative identity. When he re-emerged, he began sharing experimental production clips across social media, quickly gaining traction and earning recognition within the producer community for his boundary-pushing sound design.
Pluko’s bold visuals and confident sound give a sense of finding something outside the mainstream, appealing to listeners who crave music that challenges norms. The music itself is experimental and unapologetically raw. Distorted, repetitive, and intoxicating. It pulls listeners in through tension rather than comfort. Drawing from future bass, techno, trap, and internet culture, the production is unconventional and hypnotic, with granular synths and unique sounds that feel both physical and unplaceable. The core attitude is punk-inspired confidence—music that’s addictive, original, and impossible to replicate.
Pluko’s live shows amplify this identity through dark, high-energy, rave like experiences. Minimal venues or transformed spaces focus attention on the
music and crowd energy, with stark red and white lighting, haze, and strobe effects. Vocals are distorted and layered with reverb and delay, while gear and wires create a raw, almost DIY aesthetic. The result is immersive, confrontational, and communal—a live reflection of the music’s bold, boundary-pushing identity.
His 2025 project OXY signals the start of this new creative chapter and sets the stage for his upcoming project EDM, which has been teased heavily online and is set for release in 2026.
