Rojuu, whose real name is Roc Jou Morales, was born on March 14, 2003, in Barcelona, Spain.

He first gained attention online around the age of 12 or 13 when he started a YouTube channel (Roctopus) where he discussed urban music and shared his perspective on the emerging trap scene. Over time, he began releasing songs and mixtapes that earned him recognition among young audiences, becoming one of the most distinctive voices in Spanish emo-trap and alternative pop. His style, defined by melancholic and emotive lyrics combined with a dark aesthetic and references to digital culture and anime, led him to be associated with the term “shadow pop.” Some of his most notable albums include  Roku Roku (2021), Starina (2022) Kor Kor Lake (2022), Salsa Valentina (2023) and Los sueños de Nube (2024), the latter being a multimedia project that featured a 230-page comic book drawn by Rojuu himself. Despite collaborating with other artists such as Amaia, Evilgiane, Saramalacara, Sticky M.A, Steve Lean, Rojuu has maintained a strong independent spirit, releasing much of his music with full creative control. Known for his ability to resonate with the emotions of his generation, his work delves into themes of sadness, heartbreak, and youthful alienation, establishing him as one of the most original talents in Spain’s urban music scene.
